Popcorn, doggie treats, dogs in costumes and pet competitions. What better way to spend a Thursday afternoon?
The Urbandale Public Library's annual Pet Show was a big hit, said organizer Janine Bauer.
The weather cooperated and area families turned out for the fun. Bauer said library staff counted more than 500 participants.
