Free rides on DART Date Night this Friday

People can ride the bus for free on DART Date Night this Friday as a sustainable travel option for getting to the Des Moines Arts Festival.

 

All local and flex routes will be free to board the evening of Friday, June 27, beginning at 5 p.m. until the buses make their final stops at DART Central Station around 11:40 p.m.

“It’s a way for people to get out and explore great local events like the Des Moines Arts Festival this weekend,” Marketing Director Kirstin Baer-Harding said. “The bus is more than a way to school or work – it’s a gateway to our community and culture.”
