School Board Meeting
The Urbandale Board of Education meets at 5:30 p.m. for a work session followed by a regular meeting at 7 p.m. at City Hall. A full agenda can be found online.

Book Babies
The Urbandale Public Library hosts Book Babies for children ages 12 to 24 months at the library. The program includes stories, songs and activities. Meeting times are 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

Amateur Artist Group
The Urbandale Senior Center hosts Amateur Artists Group from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the center. Bring your own supplies and drop in anytime.

Iowa Kids Net and Dropz of Hope
Carmike Cobblestone 9 has partnered with Iowa Kids Net and Dropz of Hope to set up a Christmas tree with handmade ornaments from local children in shelters and local Girl Scout troops. Bring a donation of an unwrapped items such as diapers, socks, underwear, coats and more for children in need. The program runs unlit Dec. 12.
