Mark Your Calendar: Don't Miss Free Health Screenings for Urbandale Students

The screenings will be held on dates in July and August, and will take place at two different locations.

Urbandale Schools, in partnership with the Polk County Health Department and Urbandale Community Action Network, will hold health screenings for all Urbandale students this month and next.

The screenings will take place on July 23 from 12:30-3:30 p.m. at Rolling Green, 8100 Airline Ave., and on Aug. 15 from 2-5 p.m. at Karen Acres, 3500 74th St.

Services provided include:

School physicals
Dental Screenings
Immunizations
Lead Test

Local health care providers will conduct these services for free.

All students who attend the screenings will also get a backpack filled with dental and school supplies. Parents are requested to bring immunization records to the screenings.
