Get Off the Couch: Coed Volleyball League Starts Sept. 22

Urbandale Parks and Recreation is again offering the popular Pre-Season Coed Volleyball League. This short 6-week league is a great way to get your team ready for our regular 10-week season or to participate in a shorter season of volleyball!

The season will run Sundays, September 22 through October 27.  Game start times will be between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. All games will be held at the Urbandale Middle School Gyms, 7701 Aurora Avenue.

The League Fee is $100 per team.  Download the complete registration packet, including a roster form and league rules at www.UrbandaleParksandRec.org/events.  The fee and a roster are due when registering. All teams should register in person at the Urbandale Parks and Recreation Office, 3600 86th Street, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.  Call the office at 515-278-3963 with any questions.  Final deadline for registration is Friday, September 13 at 5 p.m.  There is a maximum number of teams accepted, so early registration is encouraged!

Teams may enter in one of three leagues; Intermediate, Advanced or Power. A complete description of each league can be found in the registration packet available on-line at www.UrbandaleParksandRec.org/events.

The Urbandale Parks and Recreation 10-week season begins November 3 and runs through February 2014.  Registration deadline for this season is October 25. Find more information at www.UrbandaleParksandRec.org.
