Urbandale's Allen Lazard Heading to National All-Star Football Camp

The camp will be held in Chicago and feature some of the best high school football players in the nation.

Urbandale High School's Allen Lazard is heading to Chicago for the weekend.

Lazard, who will be a senior next year, was invited to attend the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge, a prestigious camp for 100 of the nation's best high school football players, according to The Des Moines Register.

The players who will participate were all recently named to Rivals.com’s list of the top 100 high school football players in the Class of 2014.

Lazard, an Iowa State recruit and a receiver for the J-Hawks, is no. 25 on the list.
