Where Do J-Hawks Rank After Big Win Against Hoover?

There are shakeups among the CIML teams following Friday night's games.

Urbandale opened its home season at Frerichs Field Friday against Hoover (1-1) in non-divisional matchup of Aurora Avenue foes.

The J-Hawks entered the matchup after having scored 42 unanswered points in Fort Dodge a week ago, after falling behind 6-0.

Urbandale's offense continued to rack up the points, with a 62-18 hammering of the Huskies.

Next up, the J-Hawks host rival Johnston at 7 p.m. on Sept. 7.

In one of the state's biggest football rivalries, Dowling Catholic crushed state champion Valley, 27-7, Friday night.

That means changes to this week's football rankings.
