Urbandale Food Pantry is a non-profit organization that provides food and personal care products for residents throughout the Des Moines area. This group is funded by the cities of Urbandale and Windsor Heights, as well as pledges by area churches and donations from citizens and community organizations. The pantry offers a pre-sorted five-day supply of food and personal care items such as shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, laundry soap, toilet paper and sanitary napkins once every 30 days. Fresh produce and bread items are available daily.
